This morning, mommy took a test. It wasn't a hard test and it didn't take a long time. The answers to the test were simple: soon, mommy will be meeting you!
Today is the first day that mommy knew you were in her tummy, but mommy always knew that you would come someday.
Quickly, mommy ran into the other room to find daddy. He was still sleeping!
"Wake up! Wake up!" mommy said, "I have some wonderful news!"
Daddy opened his eyes and looked around, "What is the news?" he asked.
"We will soon have a baby! Our own precious baby!" Mommy said, with a smile on her face.
She watched as daddy thought about it for a second, and soon mommy saw the happiness in daddy's eyes. Mommy and daddy gave each other a big hug and quietly thought all about what you would be like. Would baby be strong and fast? Would baby play instruments and speak different languages? No matter what baby will do, though, mommy and daddy knew that they would always love baby forever and ever.
